School Fundraising
Athlete’s Foot
St Peter’s is participating in the Athlete’s Foot school fundraising program. The school can earn points when families purchase from their Garden City, Hyperdome and Capalaba stores. Points can then be used for purchasing sports equipment or vouchers to
be used as prizes for fundraising, which we will receive at the end of the year. If you are purchasing from Athlete’s Foot, please let them know that you would like your purchase to support our school.
Drakes Supermarket
You can help support our school by earning Community Dollars when you shop at Drakes using the My Drakes app. In the app you can set up your account to have your receipts saved and fuel vouchers (if applicable). You can set up St Peter’s as your school in the Community Dollars section, and each time you scan with a purchase the school will benefit.
Please download if you can and support the school. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far.
Events
We have so many organised. Both fundraising and non-fundraising. These will be advertised and communicated via the channels mentioned above.

Year Level Parent Reps
Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? The Parent Rep role could be it! This year we are trialing having 1-2 representatives per year level, instead of per class as we have previously done. Our goal is for each year level to have two representatives to share the role.
Role:
The role of the Year Level Parent Representative is to act as a liaison between teachers, parents & the P&F team. They are members of the P&F and will interact with other Year Level Parent Representatives as a sub-committee in the P&F, including being added to a Facebook Group chat. Year Level Parent Representatives are appreciated by the St Peter’s school community for their contributions.
Responsibilities:
- To share information to their year level Facebook page, and to maintain and moderate the page. This includes monitoring access requests and the content of posts to ensure that the posts align with St. Peter’s Parents ROCKS.
- Liaise with teachers if requested to reach out to parents via the Facebook page to send out reminders/information/call for volunteers or similar.
- Where possible, attend the monthly P&F Meetings in person or online to keep up to date with school news and upcoming events and share these on the Facebook page.
- Representatives must have completed the volunteer induction course.
- Be familiar with St Peter’s Parent ROCKS and how to operate as a positive influence in community. Being friendly, supportive and non-judgmental are important values to hold. Confidentiality around any issues to do with students is a must.
- Optional: If the Year level Parent Representative chooses, they can arrange social events for their year level, but this is purely optional. Examples of ideas and activities that may be considered for social events include group movie outings, picnics in the park, dinners for class parents, end of year celebrations.
What happens with the P&F funds that are raised?
While raising funds is not the main objective of the P&F, the P&F does provide significant funds for projects around the school.
